In director Matt Spicer’s Little Brother, John Cena plays Rudd, a charming, successful real estate agent who’s preparing for the next big step in his career. His carefully laid plans are thrown into turmoil when Marcus (Eric André), his eccentric “little brother,” comes crashing headfirst — clothing optional — back into his life.

But Cena, who recently wrapped up his nearly 25-year WWE career, is no stranger to fighting his way to the top again and again. The retired Superstar shattered one in-ring milestone after another to become a 17-time WWE World Champion, making him one of the wrestling world’s most accomplished figures. Out of the ring, he holds the Guinness World Record for the most Make-A-Wish wishes granted.

The former Doctor of Thuganomics’ success doesn’t stop there: Cena first broke onto the big screen in The Marine and has since gone on to star in comedies like Sisters, in action flicks like Bumblebee, and as Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) long-lost brother, Jakob, in the Fast & Furious franchise. He even starred in and produced his own series, Peacemaker, in which he played the eponymous antihero.

No matter what kind of Cena content (Cena-tent?) you’re looking for — action, comedy, or WWE throwbacks — you can find it on Netflix. Keep reading to learn more.

Cena plays a bodyguard hired to protect a journalist (Alison Brie) while she interviews a volatile dictator (Juan Pablo Raba) in this action comedy from director Pierre Morel (Taken). But when a military coup in the fictional Paldonia ruins their plans, they have to work together to survive mercenaries, the jungle, and each other. Christian Slater (Unfrosted), Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness), Marton Csokas (The Equalizer), and Sebastián Eslava (Wild District) co-star.

In the near future, two private contractors have separate, seemingly opposing missions: Chris (Cena), a former marine, wants to bring running water to a rural village; Commander Luo (Jackie Chan), aka Dragon Luo, wants to save civilians from a rebel incursion. They’re forced to work together in this action adventure — directed by Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) and written by Arash Amel (A Private War) — to thwart an oil heist, save Iraqi civilians, and kick some serious ass along the way.

Little Brother

Rudd (Cena) has the perfect life. He’s at a pivotal moment in his real estate career when he and his wife, Deirdre (Michelle Monaghan), are reunited with Marcus (Eric André), Rudd’s “little brother” from a program he participated in as a teenager. Marcus crashes back into Rudd’s life as a full-blown agent of chaos, stress-testing his carefully controlled existence in this comedy directed by Matt Spicer (Ingrid Goes West). Christopher Meloni (Captain Fall), Sherry Cola (Nobody Wants This), Ego Nwodim (Players), and Caleb Hearon (The Devil Wears Prada 2) co-star.

Trainwreck

Cena has a small but memorable part in this rom-com directed by Judd Apatow (Superbad). Amy Schumer (Kinda Pregnant) stars as Amy Townsend, a hardcore partier who doesn’t believe in love — and is kinda-sorta dating a gym bro named Steven (Cena). But when she meets Dr. Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), her outlook on romance changes. Aaron is a successful orthopedic surgeon who works with world-class athletes and is besties with LeBron James, and he becomes immediately and inexplicably smitten with Amy. Brie Larson (Unicorn Store) and Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door) co-star.
