Suffering from anticipatory Netflix Is a Joke Fest FOMO? In case you can’t attend the in-person celebration, rest assured that the laughs (or even the jokes that bomb) will continue long after the lights go down in Los Angeles.

Mark your calendars for a big year in comedy that’s only getting started because a handful of your faves performing at the festival — everyone from Emmy Award winner Ali Wong to Survival of the Thickest star Michelle Buteau — have even more to share. Yes, seven new stand-up specials are coming soon to a couch near you that will capture the magic of the festival, which will feature more than 300 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, and more with the best and funniest (fingers crossed!) talent in the world.

Read on for all the details about what to expect from the upcoming stand-up specials and how you can best prepare for the incoming hilarity.

Ali Wong performs in ‘Don Wong.’

Ali Wong

Nothing is off-limits for Ali Wong, from the challenges of monogamy to outrunning Steven Yeun after a lengthy brewing feud. The San Francisco native is making a postdivorce comeback with a new, somehow raunchier stand-up show for Netflix. The special will be taped during her residency at The Wiltern in Los Angeles where she will headline during Netflix Is a Joke Fest. In the meantime, you can watch Wong take the stage (probably in animal print) in one of her previous Netflix specials: Don Wong (2022), Hard Knock Wife (2018), and Baby Cobra (2016), as well as in her Emmy-winning performance in the drama series BEEF, also on Netflix. Wong starred in Always Be My Maybe, and lends her voice to Netflix’s Ask the StoryBotsAda Twist, Scientistand the Emmy-winning adult animated comedy Big Mouth.

Bert Kreischer performs in Omaha, Nebraska for ‘Razzle Dazzle.’

Bert Kreischer

Get ready for more stand-up from the self-proclaimed “drunk Forrest Gump.” Bert Kreischer, the shirtless party animal who hails from Florida, has a new special taping at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida in July, which will be his first of two upcoming Netflix specials. The shows will be in good company, as they’ll mark Kreischer’s fourth and fifth stand-up specials with Netflix following Razzle Dazzle (2023), Hey Big Boy (2020), and Secret Time (2018). Kreischer also starred in and produced the film The Machine, which is streaming on Netflix alongside his 2016 special of the same name

Deon Cole performs in ‘Charleen’s Boy.’

Deon Cole

From postcoital bedtime prayers to the moments you when should really be thanking Jesus, Deon Cole has brought his no-nonsense comedy to TV and stage for over a decade. Now, Cole is taping his latest special at Netflix Is a Joke Fest on May 2 at the Los Angeles Theatre. This special will be his third with Netflix, following Charleen’s Boy (2022) and Cole Hearted (2019). You can also watch him in Season 1 of The Standups.

Fortune Feimster performs in ‘Good Fortune.’

Fortune Feimster

In her last Netflix special, Fortune Feimster navigated getting iced, receiving an otherworldly butt massage, and her imperfect engagement to her now-wife, Jax (there was fog, lots of fog). Now, she’s back with a new special that will launch later this year — her third with Netflix — following Good Fortune (2022) and Sweet & Salty (2020). You can also catch her in Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration, which was taped at Netflix Is a Joke Fest in 2022, as well as Season 1 of the multi-comic series The Standups, and the dramedy FUBAR, which are all currently streaming on Netflix.

Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias performs in ‘Stadium Fluffy.’

Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias

Last time Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias performed at Netflix Is a Joke Fest, he was introducing the world to his long-mythologized BFF Martin, who — as it turns out — is actually real. Now, he’s making waves once more with two new stand-up specials, which will mark his fourth and fifth with Netflix. The first will tape in July at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. Iglesias made history with his special  Stadium Fluffy, which was filmed at Netflix Is a Joke Fest in 2022. He became the first comedian to perform at and sell out the largest MLB stadium in the country. While you wait for him to take the stage once more, tune into his other specials, which include One Show Fits All (2019) and I’m Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hungry (2016), as well as his multi-cam comedy series Mr. Iglesias

Jo Koy performs in ‘Jo Koy: Live from Brooklyn.’

Jo Koy

Last we heard from Jo Koy, he had a message for kids these days: You have it easy! The actor and comedian has a new special coming soon, which will be his fifth with Netflix, taped at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York in November 2023. His previous Netflix specials include Live from the Los Angeles Forum (2022), Comin’ In Hot (2019), and Live from Seattle (2017), in addition to his variety special In His Elements (2020).

Michelle Buteau performs in ‘Welcome to Buteaupia.’

Michelle Buteau

You may know her for her zingers as the host of the social media competition show The Circle, but Michelle Buteau is also a comedy force to be reckoned with. Her latest special is taping at Radio City Music Hall this summer, and will be her second special with Netflix, following Welcome to Buteaupia (2020). We can only hope her dreams of playing Meghan Markle in The Crown will one day come true, but until then Buteau also starred alongside Ali Wong in Always Be My Maybe, and you can catch her in Marry Me and Isn’t It Romantic. Buteau also wrote a collection of essays that were adapted into the critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series Survival of the Thickest
